Sparks’s diesel engineering partner is Volvo Penta, the world’s largest suppliers of boat and industrial engines, with operations worldwide. Volvo Penta is a subsidiary and a business area of the Volvo Group. It provides engines and complete power systems to leisure boats, workboats, power-generating equipment and similar industrial applications. The engine program comprises diesel and gasoline engines with power outputs of between 10 and 2,000 hp (between 7.5 and 1,500 kilowatts).
Sparks are a family run business dedicated to customer service in this our 80th Year. John A Sparks & Co. Ltd have been the main dealers for Volvo Penta in the UK for 24 years and hope to soon be appointed as one of the prestigious Centres for the UK.
