Water & Utilities
The Water and Utitlities Industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of our business. Much of the growth in the industry comes as the infrastructure of the Utility business is having to be rapidly upgraded to meet the challenges that lack of power and climate change are making.
In recent months Sparks have completed a major installation of three 2 mw Diesel generators at a Local Water Treatment Works and will continue to support these, and the other 70 generators the company is responsible for.
Another recent contract is for the supply of 25 trailer mounted 66KVA sets to the emergency wing of Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water.
The power generation industry is making similar investments, and Sparks have now installed two new SDMO generators to Uskmouth Power Station.
The South Wales Gas Pipeline (also known as the Milford Haven pipeline) is the UK’s largest high-pressure gas pipeline and Sparks have been involved in the rental, repair and supply of diesel generators for the duration of the project.
