Sparks have been appointed as the local service dealer for Diamond Diesels to support the growing population of Mitsubishi Industrial and Marine diesel engines. This will enable us to carry out warranty repairs and supply genuine replacement parts. Our SDMO colleagues are delighted with this news which makes Sparks uniquely placed to support the full range of SDMO product.

An exciting new £4million Marine Village development is currently under construction in Cardiff Bay and Sparks are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement to support the marine community and have appointed a Volvo Penta genuine parts reseller in the heart of the village.

A new showroom has been opened at our South Wales site in Caerphilly, enabling customers to come along to see and purchase from a range of SDMO portable power generation products, and these will also be featured and available for purchase online at our soon to be launched commercial website Generator Expert.

Sparks Proud to Announce Launch of New Website

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

John A Sparks is proud to announce the launch of their brand new website. The company, which has been established for over 80 years, has just completed a major revamp of their Internet web presence to ensure that their quality service is mirrored online.

Managing Director, Tony Sparks says: “John A Sparks has had an Internet presence now for a number of years but we felt that it was time, with some exciting developments going on within the company - new alliances and contracts - to give ourselves a fresh, new look that mirrored Sparks today. We are very pleased with the new site and its design - with undertones of quality and efficiency - match the values of our company.”

The new website features a content management system which allows the staff at Sparks to update the website whenever and wherever they are. The new website is robust and flexible enough for the team at Sparks to add as many new sections and pages as they wish and also means they can add rich media files, such as video, audio, images and other media in an instant.

One of the main objectives of the site was to be able to flag up the core areas of the business. “Sparks have partnered with some of the top names in their respective industries - Volvo Penta for marine, commercial and industrial diesel engines; Allison Transmission for automatic powershifting transmission and SDMO for power generating sets - and we felt that it was essential that clients and prospective clients got a complete picture of the wide range of services that we offer them,” said Tony Sparks.

Over the next few months the company will be adding case studies, testimonials and press releases and using the system to its full potential. This way Sparks can ensure that it will remain not just innovative in its factory workshop but also on the Internet.
