The Volvo Penta Inboard Range offers you everything from engines with low cruising rpm, quiet running and low vibrations, extremely low exhaust emissions are. These engines are compact in size, which means that installing them is easy.
If you’re looking for an engine which is matched for displacement and semi-planing hulls, then you should consider the D3, 5-cylinder range.
The D6 is a 6-cylinder diesel engine features large swept volume and the EVC system (Electronic Vessel Control), which means that you can be assured of world-class diesel performance, combined with low emissions.
The D12 offers electronically governed wastegate turbo, a new designed heat exchanger for reduced charge air-cooling temperature in combination with a new injection system, and a new Engine Management System (EMS-2).
Our Aquamatic or Stern Drive range includes the D3, 5-cylinder engine, which has a common rail fuel injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, variable geometry turbocharger, after cooler and the EVC (Electronic Vessel Control). We also have the D4, a 4-cylinder engine and the D6 a 6-cylinder engine.
